SchoolAid operates the website and the SchoolAid App Parent, SchoolAid Teachers’ and SchoolAid Drivers’ mobile applications (hereinafter jointly referred to as the “Service”).

By downloading, installing, accessing or using the SchoolAid range of Products and Services you are bound by this Privacy Policy.

Information from your school: – SchoolAid partners with certain educational institutions that provide us with certain information about their students.

When you enrol at a school that partners with SchoolAid, you give your school permission to release certain information to organizations like SchoolAid and SchoolAid uses that information to provide its services to you. If you would prefer that information used by our system not be made available to SchoolAid, please tell us by using support@schoolaid.in and we will do our best to respect your request and remove such information that we may have received. Some SchoolAid services depend on receipt of this information from educational institutions and do not function without it. The information, and data exchanged and shared through the use of the SchoolAid’s Products and Services may constitute personally identifiable information contained in education records maintained on behalf of the institution.

Information on Usage: – We track the usage of the SchoolAid Products and Services to improve the services we offer to our users. For example, we collect user traffic patterns to help improve site flow and usability. We may use anonymous usage data to define various user types and customize the experience for those user types, including notifying them of particular features made just for them or requesting particular actions beneficial to the overall experience with our applications.

Information from Other Sources: – We may also collect information about you from other sources, such as from other users of our services (for example, messages sent to you by other users) in order to provide to you our Products and Services, provide more useful information, and a more personalized experience.

Messages and Content – We may collect and store any messages, posts or content that you send or upload using the SchoolAid Products and Services. We may also remove any messages, posts or content that we find objectionable or that violate the End User License Agreement that governs your use of the SchoolAid Products and Services.

Usage Data

We may also collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our site or when you access our Products and Services by or through a mobile device (“Usage Data”).

This Usage Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Products and Services that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

From time-to-time SchoolAid requests information via surveys or contests. Contact information will be used to notify the winners and award prizes. Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of this site.

Changing or Removing Information

SchoolAid does not allow you to change privacy and security settings on the information collected by SchoolAid. You can also not edit or remove personal data. The only way that you can stop SchoolAid from continuing to collect information from you is to deactivate your SchoolAid account by deactivating your account by contacting SchoolAid support at support@schoolaid.in.

However, even if you deactivate your account, any information you provided to SchoolAid or that SchoolAid collected about you before deactivation may persist in backup copies, but will not be generally available to users of SchoolAid services, unless you posted or shared that information with others.

Security Of Data

The security of your data is important to us but do remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from children without parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers.

The SchoolAid range of Products and Services are currently hosted for users in India. If you are visiting from the European Union or other regions with laws governing data collection and use that may differ from Indian law, please note that you are transferring your personal data to India which does not have the same data protection laws as the EU or your local region and by providing your personal data you consent to the use of your personal data for the uses identified above in accordance with this Privacy Policy and the transfer of your personal data to India as indicated above.
